Displaying Application On All Desktops In Mac OS

  • Sharebar

Mac OS is a paradise for multi-tasking, since it gives the option of not only having many applications open on a single screen or desktop but also gives the ability to have as many desktops as needed on the same machine. One can switch between these desktops by simply swiping across the track pad with three fingers.

Now, in case you want to display a application on all your desktops for whatever reason, control click or right click on that application icon in the Dock and under “Options” select “All Desktops” and the application will be displayed on all your desktops. To turn this feature off, simply control click or right click on that application icon in the Dock and under “Options” select “None”.

In case you need to add more desktops, simple swipe up the track pad with three fingers and move your pointer to the top right corner of your screen, then click on the plus sign that appears and a new desktop will be added.
